Ceilidh a Barnone, 2024, 18x14" Signed Limited Edition Art Prints | PEI Artist
$150.00Price
Created in 2024 for a competition celebrating Prince Edward Island’s musical heritage and soundscape, this acrylic painting was selected for public exhibition as part of a lightbox installation along in downtown Charlottetown.
The painting brings together a lively gathering of foxes dancing a traditional square dance inside a barn. Musicians play as dancers fill the floor, capturing the joyful spirit of a traditional Island ceilidh.
Inspired by the visual language of medieval stained-glass windows, the composition uses bold shapes, defined contours and vibrant colours to create a dynamic, almost mosaic-like scene.
